TEHRAN (IQNA) – Bahrain’s February 14 Youth Coalition, a major opposition group, denounced Germany’s move to blacklist Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah.

The February 14 Youth Coalition in a statement described the move as following on the footsteps of US President Donald Trump who considers all freedom-fighting and resistance groups supporting the cause of Palestine to be “terrorist”.

Hezbollah is on top of the list of resistance groups fighting against Takfiri terrorists and the Zionist regime of Israel, the statement said.

It added that Hezbollah’s successive victories have made Muslims and Arabs proud, the Manama Post reported.

The statement also slammed Saudi Arabia for welcoming Berlin’s move.

On Thursday, Germany designated the Lebanese Hezbollah as a “terrorist organization”, banned all of its activities in the European country and ordered raids on sites linked to the Lebanese group.

The German police have raided several mosques and cultural associations linked with Hezbollah.
